Wired Patterned Glass is a kind of reinforced concrete-structured safe and decorative flat glass with wired mesh embedded in the glass by a special mesh unwinding system during glass forming. A steel wire mesh is sandwiched between two separate ribbons of semi-molten glass, and then passes through a pair of metal rollers which squeeze the "sandwich" of glass and wire together.
Wired Patterned Glass has an impact resistance similar to that of normal glass, but in case of breakage, the mesh retains the pieces of glass. This product is traditionally accepted as low-cost fire glass.
Wired glass is widely applicable to those public and private places that comprehensively require fire-proof, violence-resistant, shock resistant, sunlight passing but clear view preventing and decorating, for example, industrial building, workshop, store basement and parking area, etc.
